April Pickup Sets New Single-Day Effort

Spring fever surged through our neighborhood on April 11 as 34 residents picked up 59 bags of litter -- an all-time single-day record!

Contributing to this impressive haul in a major way was a team of three women who picked up a whopping 30 bags of litter in the vacant lot at Avon and Grand River. Long an eyesore, this property has been given a major facelift just in time for new owners who are poised to bring new retail to Grand River.

Having begun our pickup day with a rousing rendition of "Tell Me Something Good" at Rosa's while we savored our coffee, the April 2026 turned out to be something especially good!
