In all, the Rosedale Fun Litter Pickup Club engaged 42 volunteers in 2022 who picked up 145 bags of litter at our monthly meet-ups. And so, we gathered at Rosa Coffee Shop on December 9th to celebrate our volunteers at holiday time.
As might be expected with a club that has fun it its name, a good time was had by all! Included in the festivities was hustle instruction from our own Lady P; the debut of our new website by Three Lyons Creative; Secret Santa gift exchanges; an abundant and yummy potluck; and a super fun dice game suitable for young and old! Thanks go out to Council President Pro Tem James Tate for attending and providing volunteer recognition awards to those members who missed the earlier City Council meeting where awards were initially conferred. Our year-end thanks go out to The Kresge Foundation KIP:D grant program for its vital support this year; as well as to REMS Real Estate for their monthly coffee stipend. As always, we couldn't do it without our beloved Rosa Coffee Shop.
