What can you say about neighbors such as these?
Giving up an hour of their Saturday morning, 24 residents gathered on 9/14 for our September clean up of Grand River, Southfield service drive, Outer Drive, and several other "hot spots". The next time you see one of these lovely folks, tell them thanks. Better yet, meet them in person next month at our October outing (10/12) at Rosa Coffee shop. As ever, a special thanks to REMS Real Estate for the free coffee!

So many great dividends from our July pickup: 31 terrific people turned out to pick up trash; Detroit City Council President Pro Tem James Tate introduced us to his important new mental health campaign called Protect Your Crown; Melody Lyrics shared her original poem Love Resides in Me; and several first-timers joined in. Thanks to REMS real estate for the free coffee; and to Rosa Coffee Shop for the great coffee and ambiance!
Twenty eight valiant neighbors gathered on March 9th 2024 for the launch of the FLPC 2024 season -- that is, the beginning of our eighth year of service. Fired up by our new slogan, "Litter No More in '24", the group picked up 30 bags of garbage in all. Yea, us!!

The Rosedale Fun Litter Pickup Club hit a major milestone on August 12th when 32 neighbors turned out to pick up litter along Outer Drive, McNichols, Grand River, Southfield at Schoolcraft, Bretton, and the Southfield service drive. This marked our highest turnout ever!! Trixie, the pooch, also joined in on the fun! |
